In my group we had a few ideas like making it all cute exaggerated and funny but then I observed and put an ear out to the other groups so I could get a view of the play as a whole in my mind. then I brought my ears back in and let my mind go to work because I didn't want our one to be the same of the others so the play as a whole could have a drop in happiness but then a rise again to bring a bigger effect of inspiration and just to make it more fun to do as actors, give us some inspiration and open us up to new types of development. Our whole idea was to make it all wondrous fantasy with bright costumes and we all become toys and sing songs with the kids with big movements.
Then it becomes a boring work environment with repetitive movement and huffs and puffs and I'm the boss of the dream killers and I kill every body's dreams but then dream hero's come and turn me into dreamer and its a nice happy ending with a sing along song.
